Sweaty or Dry Feet

Sweaty feet can be embarrassing and create social problems for an individual. This condition can harbor bacteria and fungi due to the moist environment and may contribute to odor and infections. When a person has sweaty, cold feet this may be an indication of a compromised circulatory system. Blue or purplish lesions may appear on the tips of the toes and become very tender.

Dry feet can cause deep cracking in the heels which can be very uncomfortable and create a potential for infection.

A Podiatrist can assess these problems and discuss treatment options with you.
