Children’s Foot Care

Parents should have their children’s feet examined by a Podiatrist when they are very young even if there appears to be no concerns. A child’s foot may be corrected if it’s required, and it’s best done before the age of 6 as the foot structure has already been determined. Adult foot problems typically begin in childhood. Children tend to develop common problems such as warts and ingrown toenails which can be addressed in the comfort of our office. There are very specific childhood ailments that may cause pain.

We encourage patients of all ages and health to have their feet examined on a regular basis to prevent and treat foot conditions.
